TLC is Winning

TLC is at it again.  Just when I decide that I am going to watch less TV, TLC decides to reboot one of my favorite television shows.  I am already a fan of shows such as 90 day fiancé, Say Yes to the Dress, and MY 600lb life, but here they come with the reboot of Trading Spaces, there goes my Saturday nights.  I am just going to have to get more done throughout the week because starting April 7, I will be watching Trading Spaces on Saturday nights.

So anyone that know me know that I am a HUGE fan of HGTV, TLC and any similar channel. I am a superfan of all things home improvement.  From Trading Spaces, to Flip or Flop to Real Estate Virgins, you name I probably watch it or have watched it.  So I do not know how or why or what amazing person was responsible for the reboot of Trading Spaces but I am happy they were able to seal the deal.  I was ecstatic to see that Trading Spaces was coming back.  That was not the best part of the announcement, the best part of the announcement was that they were not only bringing back the old designers and carpenters, minus Amy Winn Pastor, but the original host was coming back as well.

Trading Spaces is the parent of all remodeling, carpentry, redecorating shows with probably Bob Villa being the grandparent.  All of the current shows you see now are the offspring of these ground breaking home improvement shows.  I could spend an entire day in from of the TV watching trading spaces reruns, from the sleek sophisticated designs of Genevive and Vern, to the over the top and outlandish designs of Doug and Hildi, viewers are definitely in for a treat when this show returns to TLC on April 7.

Can you already sense my excitement?  I am so ready for the reboot and I wish they would kick it off with a marathon of all of the old episodes.  I am waiting with baited breath to get back to the OG”S of home improvement, the cast and crew from Trading Spaces. Where are all my other Trading Spaces fans at?  More importantly, will you be watching?

Be Blessed! Be Fabulous!
