16 Shots! Stop the Cover up!  Could be heard throughout the streets of downtown Chicago as protesters walked along the shopping epicenter of the city protesting the killing of 17 Laquan McDonald.  Protesters eventually blocked entrances to several stores during the Black Friday holiday rush.  There is a prayer vigil scheduled on November 30, 2015 in front of Chicago Police Headquarters.

Chicago Soul Fest

Last night I was honored to see Chaka Khan and the incomparable Frankie Beverly and Maze.  The vibe was smooth the music and singing was phenomenal.  It was definitely a great night for soul and music in Chicago.
